KBB presenta LIFE IN LOOPS un proyecto del artista Timo Novotny y los músicos Sofa Surfers. LIFE IN LOOPS es un video y electro remix de la pelicula Megacities de Michael Glawogger. Este proyecto experimental, realizado en un formato de instalación de varios loops en varias pantallas, se presenta por primera vez en España.

LIFE IN LOOPS transcurre en 5 cuidades; Mexico, New York, Tokyo, Moscow y Bombay.
Timo Novotny utilizó parte del material de la pelicula original para mezclarlo con sus propias imagenes. El resultado de esta fusión es la conexión entre la propuesta visual y el sonido del grupo austríaco de musica electronica Sofa Surfers.

Timo Novotny (1973, Alemania) ha presentado sus obras en diversos festivales como Diagonale; Viper; WWVF, Netherlands; Brooklyn FF, New York; Canarias I.V. & Multimedia Las Palmas de Gran Canaria; Videolisboa; IF of New Film, Split; Voladero IFF, Mexico City; Sarajevo FF; NextFrame Touring Filmfestival, Tokyo, New York, Philadelphia, Rhode Island ; ISFF Brest; SFF Clermont-Ferrand; Sõnar, Barcelona; ISFF Santiago, Chile; Ohio IFF; Raindance; AFFMA, Los Angeles; Lovebytes; Impakt; FCMM, Montreal, video experimental, Badalona, Videolisboa, Portugal, entre otros.

Otros importantes proyectos de Novotny se han mostrado en Ars Electronica, Linz, Diagonale, Graz, Videomedja, Novisad o en CIMATICS VJ Festival, Brussels.

KBB presents LIFE IN LOOPS, a project by Timo Novotny featuring the Sofa Surfers, a video and electro remix of images from the Michael Glawogger’s film Megacities. This experimental project, shown here for the first time in Spain, is an installation of various screens showing video loops. LIFE IN LOOPS takes place in 5 cities: Mexico, New York, Tokyo, Moscow and Bombay, Timo Novotny uses material from the original film, subsequently mixing them with his own material. The result is a fusion between the retooled images and the sound of the Austrian electronic band the Sofa Surfers.
